The Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Homes, Inc., one of Newport's oldest businesses, located at 37 Lake Road, Newport, Vermont, was founded on April 9th, 1894, by Byron and Augusta Curtis, continued by their son Justin A. C. Curtis and by his wife, Frances Gates Curtis, and is now owned by Roland N. Britch, Jr., and Richard & Louise Bouffard. On November 14, 2001, Roland purchased the Converse-Rushford Funeral Home in Newport and Barton, and in 2012 he purchased the M. R. Davis Funeral Home in Craftsbury Common, VT. We have served Orleans and Essex Counties for over 130 years.
