Deborah Fae Fortin

Deborah Fae Fortin, 70, of Holland, VT passed away on October 12, 2026 at her home. She was born on October 4, 1956 in Middletown CT, to the late Morse Everett and Dorothy (Shover) Bickford. On May 1, 1981 she married Michael Fortin and they have been together for over 50 years.

Debbie was a graduate of North Country Union High School, class of 1974.

Deb was very kind, easy-going and had a very gentle spirit. She enjoyed cooking, watching television and taking care of her husband Mike. She was a member of the Church of God in Derby.

She is survived by her husband Michael of Holland, daughter Christine Fortin of Holland and her 3 grandchildren, Adam Fortin and his wife Holly of Holland, Jacob Roy of Holland and Rebecca Farrar of Newport, sister-in-law Lorraine Pink and her husband Fred of Texas, Donna Burns who Deb considered her more like a daughter, brother-in-law Dennis Roberts of Holland and Nephews Jason and Matt Roberts, Michael Bickford and Lorraine’s children.

She was predeceased by her parents, sister Bonnie Roberts and her brother Douglas Bickford.
