Teresa
Rogers
Aug 22, 1963 — May 3, 2026
Teresa Rogers, of Brownington Vermont, passed away on May 3rd, 2026. Leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a world made brighter by her presence. She was born on August 22, 1963, in Newport, Vermont.
She found joy in the simple, beautiful things—tending her garden, filling her home with thriving houseplants, and bringing creativity into everyday life. Whether she was crocheting something cozy, crafting something unexpected, or making one of her famously silly hats, she had a way of turning ordinary moments into something special.
More than anything, she loved making people smile. Her warmth, humor, and kindness were gifts she gave freely, and they left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her loving partner, Curtis Palmer; her mother, Alice Couture; her sisters, Louise Couture and Mary Leach and her husband, Rob; and her brother, Richard Bagley; her children, Damon Rogers and Ana Woodruff and her husband, Andy Woodruff; and her cherished grandchildren, Alice Woodruff, Theodore Woodruff, and Lillian Woodruff.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom she shared a close and joyful upbringing.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Emelda and Edward Gosselin; her grandchild, Helen Louise Woodruff; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones who now welcome her in peace.
A service will be held on June 27th 2026 at 11am in at St. Edwards Church in Derby Line Vermont. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a potluck meal to share stories and celebrate her life. Bringing a dish is welcome but not required.
In honor of her love for growing things and bringing joy to others, the family encourages you to plant something, create something, or do something kind for someone in her memory.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
