It comes with such sorrow that heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Shirley C Hackett died unexpectedly on 08-06-2022 at the age of 79 surrounded by her loving husband of 49 years. She loved blueberry picking, crocheting, knitting, making things with her hands from earrings, pot holders to making princess pine wreaths,talking on the phone but mainly video chatting on her tablet with her sister, children and friends.

Shirely was born in Plymouth Massachusetts  on December 14th 1942. In 1984 her family then moved to Vermont. She is survived by her husband Anthony F. Hackett her sister Jeanne Caron of Carver Massachusetts , her 6 children Timothy and wife Becky Hackett  and kids Lisa, Meagan,and Crystal of Goose Creek S.Carolina, Anthony E Hackett and wife Cheryl Hackett of Browninton and daughter Ashley Gallardo and kids of Coventry Vt, Valerie Hackett of Brownington and kids David, GeorgeJr and wife Rachel  of Otisfield ME, Daniel, Carol Hackett of Derby Line Vt, her kids Cody, Kyle, Collin and Mathew of Island Pond Vt Kim Moore and husband Robert Moore and kids Michelle, Dalton and Michael of Brownington Vt Christine Hackett/Forgues of Brownington VT and kids Derek,Natahsa,Travis and Jazmine. Step grandchildren Gregory and Kenny Dunn of Maine. Several Nieces and Nephew and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Bertha Adams  of Massachusetts, Ashlynn Santaw and Quincy O'Gorman.

Services will be held on 08-20-2022 @ 1 pm at their home 822 Hunt Hill Rd. Brownington Vt 05860.
