Ryan
Chayer
Sep 2, 1988 — Jul 30, 2026
In Loving Memory of Ryan Chayer
Ryan Chayer , a lifelong resident of Albany, Vermont , passed away leaving behind a legacy of quiet contentment and simple joys. Ryan was a simple man who lived his life exactly as he wished, never seeking material wealth, but finding immense value in the world around him.
He was truly happiest sitting on his front porch with his furry baby Muffin listening to the peaceful sounds of the brook in the distant and all the other beautiful sounds that nature offered in the quiet mountains. An artist at heart, Ryan possessed a deep passion for writing music and a remarkable talent for photography. Over the years, he captured some of the most breathtaking evening photos many had ever seen, sharing his unique view of the world through his lens.
Ryan also found great joy in collecting rare, hard-to-come by trading cards, watches, and other unique things and spending hours playing video games with his close buddies, sharing laughs and trying to solve all the world's problems together.
Above all, Ryan Cherished the people close to him. He shared a deep love for this Best friend Candace Swanson, and poured his heart into helping raise little Alley.
Alley was his absolute pride and joy, and he treasured their nightly chats before bed and with Candance their love for scary movies.
He is survived by his Best friend Candace Swanson and little Alley.
He is survived by his father Rodney Chayer and partner Lisa Austin. He is survived by his Mother Sherry Cowles and Kenneth Ross, by his brother Zachary Chayer and Michelle Thibeault, his little niece Addison Chayer who he loved and treasured dearly and many aunts and uncles.
There are so many others that preceded him that are too many to name, but his grandmother Ione Armstrong who was so very very close to him was his ride to Die person.
His grandpa Doug, and Grandfather Carl Cowles
