Obituary

In the early morning of September 25, with family by his side, Raymond Edward Royer took his last breath and entered his eternal home in Heaven.

Raymond was born on October 10, 1932 to Clement and Melina (Poirier) Royer. He was a faithful member of St Theresa's Catholic Church where on June 8, 1957 he married the love of his life, Lucille Brosseau who predeceased him on January 17, 2023. Raymond grew up on the family farm where he learned all about being a hard worker.  He was employed at Ethan Allen in Orleans for over 35 years.  He worked tirelessly to ensure that his family was taken care of.  When he wasn't building chairs, he was happiest mowing his lawn, trimming trees, working on his woodpile, repairing chairs or performing odd jobs for others in the community.

Raymond loved getting together with family and friends camping, snowmobiling, playing cards and pool. He especially enjoyed gambling trips with special friends Kasey and Pat, and watching any of his grandchildren's sporting events.

Raymond is survived by his five children and their spouses, sons Gary, (Patti) of Lyndonville, Roger, (Dael) of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, John, (Tina) of Winooski, daughters Lisa, (Ken) Wheeler of Lyndonville and Karen, (Cam) Devereux of Barton. He was lovingly known as Popup to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Justin Royer, (Miranda) and their children Jaydin, Jenna and Jax, Joseph, (Dee) and their sons Max and Will Royer, Jordan, (Angela) and their children Kayden, Kensley, Kyla, Kaleb and Kathryn Royer, Jamie, (Evan) and their children Lucy and Cal Robinson, Lucas Royer (Katie), Sara, (Jonas) and their children Wesley and Julia Steele, Samantha, (Joel) and their sons Luca, Pellegrino, and Enzo Rossi, Camden Devereux, Joel Devereux, (Autum), and Joshua Isaac Royer.

He was predeceased by his parents, and all ten of his siblings, Tommy, Emma, Bert, Vic, Clairmont, Philip, Emile, Gertrude, Ernest and Andy.
