Priscilla Mae (Calloway) Simpson Born: March 6, 1940, in Newport Center VT ,passed away at her home on  November 19,2021.  Parents: Natalie (Armstrong) Calloway- Barton Landing, VT Blaine O Calloway – Davidson Saskatchewan, Canada Dad: Alfred Leblanc – Troy, VT Priscilla married the love of her life Silas O. Simpson from Newport , VT on May 10th , 1958, in Bristol, Connecticut. Together they built a wonderful life full of love, family, friends, and lots of memories. Through their 35 years of marriage, they had 9 children, 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Priscilla "Pat" worked at Newport Plastics for 20+ years and loved working with "her girls", and especially enjoyed working with Irving and Alfred who she referred to as "the boys". Pat loved being with her family enjoying cookouts, fishing, teaching her greatgrandchildren how to play poker with m & m's and just spending time with them. They meant the world to her. She was not your typical grandmother, no cookie making for her! She would teach you how to build, make or fix just about anything. She enjoyed bowling in her younger days, in her later years that turned into enjoying the game of cornhole. She won most of the time. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and a dirty mind. The stories she told us over the years had us all laughing out loud. She was predeceased by her husband Silas in June 1993, by her siblings Donald Calloway and wife Cora, Betty (Calloway) Scott and husband Silas, Roger Calloway, Louise "Weedy" (Calloway) Dionne. Her two sons Silas and Richard and Daughter in law Tammy (Sylvester) Simpson. She is survived by her sister Linda (LeBlanc)Bennett and Husband Norman of Coventry, VT, sister in law Betty (Hardy) Calloway of Newport, VT, brother in law Norman Stevens of Orleans, VT, 7 Children: Cindy (Simpson) Sokolis and husband Thomas of Brownington, VT, Joseph Simpson and girlfriend Janelle From Derby Line, VT, April (Simpson) Beaumont from Coventry, VT, Pamela (Simpson) Greenwood and husband Danny From Derby Line, VT, Patrick Simpson and Holly (Gilman) From Lyndonville, VT, Jeffery Simpson from Newport, VT, and Tina (Simpson) Bailey and husband Danny from Orleans, VT, 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends James and Ellie Bailey from Dixville P.Q. Just know she loved each and every one of you.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday November 24,2021 at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, Newport with the Rev. George Lawson officiating.  Friends may call on Wednesday November 24,2021 at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the funeral.
