Patricia Louise Comtois, also known as Pat, passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 82 in Lyndonville, Vermont. Pat was born on November 22, 1941 in Winooski, Vermont, daughter of "Pit" and Lorraine Young of Derby Line. Pat graduated from Derby Academy in 1961 and Hanover School of Nursing in 1963. She had a long career as an LPN at Newport Health Care Center where she dedicated many years of her life. She and husband, Roger had a love for sailing. After retiring they enjoyed spending summers on Lake Memphremagog and their winters in Port Charlotte Harbor, Punta Gorda, Florida. Pat is survived by her siblings, Paula Crowe, John young and his wife Barb, and Susan Smith and her husband John. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Greg and Ryan Marsh, Erika and Tiffany Crowe, Liana Szczecinski, Heidi Chamberlin, their families and husband Roger's large family. Pat was predeceased by her husband Roger Comtois (who passed on June 22, 2018), Lorraine Young (mother), Pit Young (father) and her nephew, Shawn Marsh. In accordance with her wishes, no memorial service services are planned.
