With a heavy heart we share the passing of our sister, Mary Ellen Wheeler, on Thursday, February 13th at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.  She was born on October 13, 1965.  Mary Ellen had a love for crocheting, bingo, Dunkin Donuts, her phone and an occasional scratch ticket.  She enjoyed outings and connecting with family and friends.  She was predeceased by her mother, Joyce Baraw in 2017.  Mary Ellen was a brave and resilient young lady and was loved and adored by many. She is survived by her father, David Baraw, siblings: Tina Richardson, Joanie Beauregard, Tammy Gilfillan, Irene Gonyer, Tasha Cunningham, her fictive sister Alice Perry and her brother Travis Baraw and all of their families.  She was close to her Aunt Simone & Uncle Bob, Aunt Rose and her friend Charlotte Vinyl.

Mary Ellen had many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She was always excited when a little one came into the world as it was an opportunity for her to welcome the little bundle with one of her special crocheted baby blankets.

Mary Ellen was a long-time resident of Copley House in Morrisville Vermont.  She had many friends there and enjoyed her time with them.

A very special thank you to all the amazing staff at Copley Hospital for the extraordinary care and compassion they provided for our sister during her lengthy stay with them. We are forever grateful to you all.

A grave side service will take place in the future. On-line condolences at curtis-britch.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, & Cremation Service, locally family owned and operated.
