Mark H "Bob". Collins 60 of Newport, VT passed away on March 03, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 23, 1962 in Newport, VT to Raymond Collins Jr. and Birdena (Scott) Collins. Mark was a true outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt with his son and nephews and his good friend Seth Cartee. He was the life of the party and as his nephew says he was a legend. He loved scratching lottery tickets, playing poker and drinking beer with his family. He had a special place on Lowell mountain where family and friends spent many rifle seasons. He loved to do woodworking. His favorite thing was watching his five grandchildren grow up. He is survived by his children Dereck Collins of St. Johnsbury , VT; and Amanda (Collins) Allen and her husband Jason Allen Jr. of Newport, VT. He is survived by his five grandchildren: Iziah, Ayriel, Wyatt, Kamryn and Koulton Allen all of Newport, VT. He is survived by his brother Douglas Collins, Sr. and wife Gloria of Brownington, VT; and his sister Lori Collins of Coventry, VT. A special friend Debbie Collins of Newport, VT. He is survived by his special nephews Reginald Collins, Jr. and his partner Kayla Shover of North Troy, VT; Travis Collins and his wife Amber Collins of Newport, VT. He is survived by his only niece Tonya Calloway and her partner Travis Hinton of North Troy, VT. He is survived by his nephews Doug Collins, Jr. and partner Mary Girard of Orleans, VT; Jacob Calloway of Coventry, VT; Dakota Calloway of Brownington, VT; and Kevin Collins of Brownington, VT. He is predeceased by his father Raymond Collins, Jr. and his older brother and best friend Reginald Collins, Sr. He is also predeceased by his grandparents and several special aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. A special thanks to Dr.Bouchard and nurses that were on shift that night.A celebration of life and potluck will be held at the Derby Line Town Hall on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 12 Noon. Any friends or family that wish to attend are more than welcome to come and share a memory and to celebrate the life of this wonderful man.
