Marilyn Jean Gaudette (Dickson), age 45, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2025. Marilyn lived in Newport; she grew up in Albany, VT. She graduated from Lake Region High School in 1998. Marilyn loved her cats. To her, they were her children, Moe Moe, Church, and Gizmo. Marilyn was a very caring person; she had a heart of gold like her mother, Marilyn, to whom she was named after.

Marilyn left behind her father, Eugene Dickson of Albany, VT, four sisters, brothers-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Sabrena Ducharme, husband William of Walden, VT, children Tim, Josh, Troy, and Nicole. Della Hall, husband Ricky of Greensboro Bend, VT, children Roxanne and Kyle. Marena Mead, husband Ken, of Hyde Park, VT, children Danielle, Daphne, and Gene. Dolida (Dolly) Kennison of Hardwick, VT, children Jolene, Etta, and Jason.

Marilyn will be buried with her mom in Craftsbury, VT. A graveside service and celebration of life will be held in the spring, planned by her family.
