Marilyn Blanche Casavant, 91, of Island Pond, Vermont passed away on October 4, 2025 in Newport.  She was born on October 11, 1933 in Coventry to Lawrence and Ola (Wells) Webster.  On October 7, 1950 she married Leo Casavant who survives her.

Marilyn was a housewife who enjoyed cleaning her home, watching television, and listening to old country music and to Irish music sung by Daniel O'Donnell. She was a communicate of St. James Catholic Church in Island Pond.

She is survived by her husband Leo Casavant of Island Pond, Vermont, by her children: Philip Casavant of Island Pond, Vermont, Stephen Casavant and his wife Jane of Barnet, Vermont, and Diann Bigelow and her partner Joshua J. Covell of Rutland, Vermont.  She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Joyce Guyette and her brother Arthur Webster.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M.  on Saturday October 11, 2025 at the Coventry Cemetery with the Rev. Benny Chittilappilly                      officiating.
