Lucille Jacobs-Collins, 86, of Newport, VT passed away on January 15, 2026 at Maple Lane Nursing Home in Barton, VT. She was born on January 3, 1940 in Derby, VT to the late Rene and Arthrine (Decker) Ste. Marie. On August 16, 1958 she married Conrad Jacobs who predeceased her on January 22, 1993. She then married Russell Collins on July 3, 1999 and he predeceased her on June 12, 2009.

Lucille worked at Forest Hills and Mill Outlet, before retiring from Vermont Department of Unemployment and Training, which is now known as Vermont Department of Labor. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and traveling, especially to Maine. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newport.

She is survived by her sons: Michael, Mark and Matthew, grandchildren: Bobby, Melissa, Abbey and Jeremiah, great grandchildren: Aubrey, Leah, Kaison, Alina and Daphne and her siblings Richard Ste. Marie and Claire Currier.

She was also predeceased by her sister Rita Ste. Marie.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
