Linda (Kennison) McAllister 70 of Lowell, Vermont and Troy, Vermont passed away after a battle with cancer on July 14,2026. She grew up in Newport Center, Vermont, which is where she would meet her future husband Gary McAllister, from there she followed her husband in the military (USAF), being honorably discharged in Tacoma Washington and after they settled back home in Newport Center, Gary working as a supervisor at Butterfield tap and die and then working with his brother at McAllister Concrete. They had a brief retirement in Florida for several years before he succumbed to cancer in 2023 at 68.

In Newport Center they raised their two children, their daughter Jaime and their son Kevin. Linda worked several jobs and enjoyed gardening, four wheeling and especially enjoyed time with her four grandchildren Trevor, Makenna, Cadence and Savannah.

Linda leaves behind her daughter Jaime McAllisters and her son and daughter in law Kevin and Jessica McAllister, her four grandchildren Trevor, Makenna, Cadence and Savannah McAllister. She also leaves behind two brothers, Gary and Cindy Kennison and Terry and Brenda Kennison and several brother and sister in-laws and nieces and nephews. Both Linda and Gary passed through this life way too soon but the laughter, joy and love they brought to so many will live on forever in the lasting memories they left behind.
