Laurie Ann (Conley) Landry, 53, of Barton, VT, passed away peacefully with her sister and daughter by her side on January 5, 2025. In her final days, Laurie was surrounded by family and friends. Laurie was born in Newport, VT, to Jesse and Karen Conley on September 9th, 1971, and shared the same birthday as her father.

Laurie is survived by her parents, Jesse and Karen Conley; her sister, Jennifer Conley; her daughter Hayley Landry-Blood and her husband David; her ex-husband and friend Robert Landry; her nephews Caleb, Christopher, and Samuel; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly.

Laurie spent the last several years caring for the elderly in their homes and always helped others when she could. She loved spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Roman. Some of her favorite hobbies were listening to music and playing bingo, scrabble, and scratch tickets. In her earlier years, she loved attending rock concerts and was always ready to enjoy a get-together with friends. Laurie had a wonderful sense of humor, a distinctive, infectious laugh, and a radiant smile.

Laurie was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Jesse Conley Sr., and June Lewis; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Whipple; and her aunts, Annabelle Conley and Mary Politano.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Shelter 243 Woods Farm Road, Newport,  VT, are welcome. The family is in the process of arranging a celebration of life and will soon announce details to family and friends.
