Kathleen Verrill, 73, of Newport Center, VT, passed away July 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a happy life. She worked as a CNA for many years and then took on the role of managing a Motel in Old Orchard Beach Maine.

When she wasn't working, you could find her hand sewing quilts, making sure that all her family members had one. They were all made with much Love and with them in mind.

She enjoyed visiting her family in North Carolina. She also, loved watching her great nieces and nephews play. You could often find her playing right along with them.

She leaves behind her Son, Bennie Bucklin, her Granddaughter, Emily Bucklin and her Grandson, Jake Bucklin. Her Siblings, Marie and Wes Kimball, Billy and Sonia Searles, Judy and Levis Boutin, Bruce and Rebecca Searles, Phillip Searles and Ruth Roy.

She is predeceased by two Sons', Daniel Bucklin, and Matthew Yates. Also, her Husband Fred Verrill, her Brother, David Searles and her Sister, Joan Lawrence.
