Obituary

Julian Rogers, 94, of Coventry, Vermont passed away on January 3, 2024, peacefully at his home.  He was born on December 7, 1929, in Waterbury, CT to Leslie and Margaret (Canning) Rogers.  On April 10, 1967, he married Maureen Rooney who predeceased him on March 5, 2022.  She was the love of his life.  After Maureen's passing Julian was cared for by his son Michael.  This gave him peace in order to continue to reside at his home.

Julian took great pride in the farming business that he and Maureen built together.  Farming was their lifelong passion. In 1972 they purchased their dream farm naming it Hillcrest Dairy.  Julian was a very caring person, and a hard-working family man. His family will miss him dearly and find comfort in knowing he is with his loved ones.

He is survived by his children: Sherry Bean and her husband Russell, Lynn Bushey and her husband Bobby Ignjatovic, Lesa Trowt and her husband Jeffrey, Michael Rogers, and Julie and her husband Bob Josephson. He also leaves behind his two loyal pets Rusty and Dusty.

We would also like to acknowledge a Special Grand Daughter Jessie Bushey who was by his side and was caring and gentle to him over the last 2 years.  Jessie, we love you.
