Jane (Hoy) Booth Obituary

(May 25, 1940-March 5, 2026)

Jane Booth was born on May 25, 1940, to Howard and Ruby Hoy of Newport VT.  Sister to Royce (Russ) Hoy, Jane graduated from Newport High School in 1958.  She married Robert (Bob) Naramore in 1960 and she bore three sons, Robert Jr, Royce and Ross Naramore in her and Bob's 20-year marriage.

Jane was a loving mother to her sons and provided a loving home in Coventry VT. while working for many years at Montgomery Wards and the Grand Union Super Market in Newport VT.  Later in life, Jane provided care for Theresa and Lucy Metras or Jane and the Jane-ettes as we lovingly referred to them.  Jane met Ben Booth in 1981, married in 1988 and he passed in 1990 not giving the couple long to enjoy their love for each other.  Jane spoke fondly of Ben, and we hope they may be reunited now.

Jane enjoyed the tranquility of her home on the Black River.  Having a cup of coffee and a cigarette on the porch, surrounded by flowers, on warm summer mornings. She liked cooking for her family and having family get togethers.  Christmas at her small home became increasingly crowded as her family grew, but no one complained and it created a special closeness for her, her sons, her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.  Unfortunately, Dementia took away Jane's ability to enjoy her life and the knowledge of many new additions to her family, Ellery, Hazel, Levi, Brayden, Skylee, Elysium, Raegan, and Emily.

Jane Booth was predeceased by her parents Howard and Ruby Hoy, her Brother Royce Hoy, First Husband, Bob Naramore, Husband Ben Booth, Step Grandson Denis Gray and Grandson in-law Kyle Buttice.  Jane is survived by her sons Robert Jr and his wife Regina Naramore, Royce and his wife Laurie Jo Naramore, and Ross and his partner Jennifer Eveland, Grand Children, Raven Buttice and her partner Brenden Curtis, Randi Wingate and her husband Jesse Wingate, Robert(Bo) Naramore III, William(Billy) Naramore, Brooke and Jon Wright, Taylor Naramore and partner Corey Provencher, David Naramore and partner Baylee Pion, Great Grandchildren, Addylin Naramore, Daxton Naramore, Ellery Channing Wingate, Hazel Ray Curtis, Levi Wright, Brayden Wright, Skylee Provencher, Elysium Naramore, Raegan Naramore, and Emily Naramore.
