Jacques J. Lacroix, 76, of Derby, Vermont passed away on December 9, 2022 in Newport.  He was born on May 28, 1946 in Bellcombe Abitibi, Quebec, the son of Albert and Anna Marie (Poirier) Fortin.

Jacques was employed as a machinist by Tivoly in Derby Line for many years where he retired.  He was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and also a member of the Knights of Columbus Gibbons Council # 2285   and 4 ^th degree St. Cardinal Gibbons Assembly #1157 where he was active.  His hobbies included golfing and listening to 60's and 70's music.

He is survived by his sister Colette DeLage and her husband Raymond of Ontario, Canada.

He was predeceased by his brother Marcel Lacroix.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday December 20, 2022 at St. Edward's Catholic Church where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.  Spring interment in St. Edward's Cemetery in Derby Line.  Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 A.M. on Tuesday December 20, 2022 at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, 4670 Darling Hill Road, Newport.
