Jacques Daigle, 90, of Troy, Vermont passed away on July 2, 2024 in Lebanon, New Hampshire.  He was born on June 21, 1934 in Westfield, Vermont to Leo and Marie (Currier) Daigle.  He married Theresa Pigeon who survives him.

He was a self employed Mechanic and had an Auto Repair shop in Troy. He liked to putter in his garage, enjoyed going to auctions and yard sales, watching car races and he loved his horses and dogs. Spending time with his family at the family pond was his favorite past-time.  He was also an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus for over 25 years.

Jacques is also survived by his children Diane Janelli and her husband Robert, James Daigle and his wife Denise, Roger Daigle and his wife Heather, Jean Daigle and his wife Rose, Andre Daigle and his significant other, and Rene Daigle and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren Jennifer Burrall and her husband Kevin, Kathleen Leach, Nicholas Daigle and his wife Kealey, Evan and Chelsea Daigle, Gracie and Tucker Gauvin, Derrick Daigle, Sierra Pecue and her husband Ben, Dinah Daigle, Dominick Daigle, Travis Letourneau and his wife Jordan, and Ashley Daigle; great-grandchildren Ronan Burrall, Brody Daigle and Rangeley Letourneau, as well as his brother Louis Daigle and his wife Sandra, sisters Monique Temple and her husband Allyn, Jeannine Taylor and her husband Bernard, and Laurette Lewis; sisters-in-law Hilda Daigle, Constance Daigle, Susan Daigle, Jeannette Daigle and Mary-Lou Daigle and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Yves, Conrad, Norbert, Norman, Charlie and Roland Daigle, sisters Jacqueline Williams and Louise Routhier.

Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Friday July 5, 2024 at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, Newport. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday July 6, 2024 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 130 South Pleasant Street in Troy, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Lowell.
