Helen Rose Dannat, 91, of Greensboro, VT, formerly of Lowell, VT passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025 in Morrisville, VT at Copley Hospital. She was born on March 16, 1934 in Groton, MA to the late Albert and Mary (Milo) Moras. On April 7, 1956 she married Wayne M. Dannat who predeceased her on May 18, 2022.

Helen resided at Greensboro Nursing Home for the past 3 years and became friends with many of the residents and staff. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo, learning music and playing any of the activities at the nursing home.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth Dannat and wife Ann of NH, Wayne A. Dannat and wife Laurie of Lowell, VT, Mark Dannat and wife Anita of Lowell, VT, Cynthia Dannat Hadfield and wife Tammi of Tennessee, grandchildren Erica, Devin, Tyler, Renee, Jason and Jeff, great grandchildren Christian, Sydney, Garrett, Liam, Raegen, Amelia, Grayson, Logan, Emma and Colton, as well as her brother Albert Moras Jr. and his wife Donna, sisters Claire Williams and her husband Douglas and Lorraine Butcher and her husband Aaron, sister-in-law Margaret Moras, brother-in-law Norman Dannat and his wife Colleen and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Steven Dannat, brothers Henry Moras and George Moras and his wife Pauline.

Friends may call from 4:30 P.M. until the hour of the funeral at 5:30 P.M. on Thursday August 21, 2025 at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, 4670 Darling Hill Road, Newport, with Pastor Scott Libby officiating.
