Gordon Albert Lefebvre of Island Pond, VT died on December 2, 2025 in Lyndonville, VT after a prolonged period of failing health, at the age of 92. He was born October 6,1933 to the late Alphonse and Lillian (Elliott) Lefebvre in Willimantic, CT. When he was 3 months old the family moved back to Island Pond.
His education was completed at St. Mary's Academy, from where he graduated in 1951. He obtained employment with the Grand Trunk Railroad as a Brakeman/Conductor until his retirement in 1995. His love for nature, the outdoors and history gave him profound pleasure throughout his many years. Over the course of his life, he was active in many organizations associated with his church, town and state.
He was predeceased by his parents and grandson Andrew Lefebvre. Also by his father and mother-in-law Donald and Faith (Lord) Tracy and his brother-in-law John Watson.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife Rebecca, his three sons, Jeff (Robin), Dana (Christine) and Jason (Martha). Also Delia Lefebvre. Survivors also include numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as sister-in-law Ann Watson. Also several cousins and one nephew.
