Gloria M.
Choquette
Aug 25, 1941 — Aug 29, 2026
Gloria M. Choquette of North Troy, born Aug 25, 1941 to Leonard and Blossom White, went peacefully to God's protection on Aug 29, 2026, surrounded by love.
She married the love of her life, Roger on Oct 10, 1959 and together built their life long home and shared a wonderful life together taking many traveling adventures throughout the US. Her favorite place to visit was Maine, especially Booth Bay Harbor, where she would always find that just right gift for that special person. She had a gift for making every family member's birthday the most important day of the year, taking time to prepare their favorite dishes with love. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. When grandkids were younger, they had crafting sessions, weekly restaurant outings, which always ended with a shopping trip, and the annual Summer excursion. As the grandkids got older she and Roger never missed a school concert or function or sporting event. Gloria's family and the time spent with them was most important in her world. She retired from the US Postal System after more than 46 years of service.
In her younger years Gloria loved to go on family camping trips, fishing trips, and was an avid snowmobiler. Until recently she was the caretaker of her property, making sure the lawn was cut perfectly, gardens were immaculate, and seasonal decorations properly displayed. She loved doing puzzles and watching birds, doing both on her final day.
She will be missed by her son Randy and wife Cris, daughter Wendy, granddaughter Monica and her husband Mick D'Agostino, grandson Bryan and his wife Hannah Choquette and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Roger in 2010, her parents, her brother Lawrence White, her brother Ronald and wife Olive White, and nephew Kevin White. She was predeceased by several in-laws.
In lieu of flowers please give a donation of birdseed or a monetary donation for bird food to the Nursing Home or Group Home of your choice to bring joy to other residents living there.
The family is extremely grateful to the compassionate staff at St. Albans Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Their kindness, dedication and care meant so much to the family.
A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family.
