Frances M. Fletcher, 87 of Holland, VT passed away on February 4, 2026, in Lebanon, NH with her family by her side. She was born on September 7, 1938, in Brownington, VT to the late Arnold and Evelyn (Gelo) Herman. On June 16, 1956, she married Roger Fletcher who predeceased her.

Frances worked as a cook at Charleston Elementary School for many years. In her free time she enjoyed camping, traveling, knitting, was very family oriented and loved having her family over for visits or gatherings, either at home or at camp in Island Pond. She was a past member of the Island Pond Congregational Church.

She is survived by her children; Bruce Fletcher and his wife Lisa of Connecticut, Cindy Matthews and her husband Norman of Derby, VT, Brian Fletcher of Holland, VT, Daniel Fletcher and his wife Kathy of Derby Line, VT and David Fletcher of Derby, VT, 20 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Wendall Herman and his wife Nancy of Island Pond, VT, sisters Barbara Wright of Barton, VT and Betty Blair of Brownington, VT.

She was also predeceased by her son Doug Fletcher, brothers Allan Herman and his wife Linda and Norman Herman and his wife Patricia and brother-in-law Ross Wright.

Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the funeral at 2:00 on Thursday February 12, 2026, at the Holland Community Church with Pastor Bruce Fletcher officiating.
