Elmer Neil Durivage Jr., 56, passed away early June 13th surrounded by his loving family at his home in Eden after a year battling brain cancer. He was well known by all as "Frog". Elmer was born on May 3, 1968 in Morrisville, VT to Elmer Sr. and Clarice (Dolan) Durivage.
He graduated from Lamoille Union High School, class of '86. Soon after he married his high school sweetheart Denise Russell of Johnson, on August 29, 1986.
During his lifetime he was a Crane operator and erected bridges. Among his many hobbies he enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting, logging, and sugaring. He also enjoyed working in his garage on his equipment and muscle cars. He was able to fix practically anything. He loved spending time with his friends and family visiting around a fire, target practicing and four wheeling.
He is survived by his wife Denise Durivage of Eden, VT, his daughter Amelia and son in law Tyler Bates, granddaughter Natalie, his mother Clarice Durivage. His siblings: Jubal and Colleen Durivage, Shari and Rick Stygles, Sarah Durivage, Rose Boivin, Holly and Rick Williams and many nieces and nephews. He was honored to have great friends and special family members who made an impact on this life, his nephew Ryan Stygles and wife Brooke, Jody and Laura Gale and their son Caleb.
He was predeceased by his father Elmer Durivage, Sr and his twin sons Russell and Jacob.
Friends and family may call on Friday June 21, 2024 at the Eden Congregational Church in Eden Mills from 4-7 P.M. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday June 22, 2024 at the Eden Corner Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Grandstaff officiating. Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network, P. O. Box 828, Morrisville, Vermont 05661.
