Eleanor Alpaugh, 80, of Newport, VT passed away on May 29, 2023 in Lebanon, NH. She was born on July 17, 1942 in Kapuskasing, Ontario Canada to the late George and Eleanora (Costain) Sparling.

Eleanor became a US citizen in 1963. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching old westerns, playing bingo, playing cards, video games, snowmobiling, riding her jet ski and she was a New York Giants Fan.

She is survived by her husband Warren Alpaugh, daughter Susan Hansen and her husband John, grandchild Siobahn Singleton and husband Andrew, brothers John and Wesley Sparling, many nieces, nephews, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, her son Jeffrey Alpaugh and brothers Gregory and Douglass.
