Obituary

Dorothy Carol (Nutting) Booth, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 2, 2025, surrounded by family. Dorothy was born on August 20,1933, to Cecile (Reya) and Ernest Nutting in North Troy, VT. She was raised in the northeast kingdom with her 10 brothers and sisters. She married her husband William Booth Sr. on 10/05/1951 and they chose to live and raise their sons in North Troy.

She spent 18 years of her life working at a Veneer Mill in North Troy and another 18 years working for Butterfields as a machine operator and inspector. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and passing time by doing word searches and puzzles. She could be seen driving around in her red truck that she kept in immaculate condition. She treasured her independence and kept actively caring for her home and yard.

Dorothy was pre-deceased by her parents Cecile & Ernest Nutting, her siblings Nancy, Debra, Joyce, & Herbert, her son William Booth Jr., and her grandson Robert Booth Jr.

Dorothy is survived by her son Robert Booth Sr. and his wife Rachel and grandsons Michael, Shawn, and granddaughter Cathy, her son Kenneth Booth Sr. and his wife Lois and grandsons Kenneth Jr., Jeremy, and granddaughter Heidi. She is also survived by her brothers Ernest Nutting, Larry Nutting and wife Darlene, and sisters Wilma Boulanger, Sandy Thompson and husband Richard, and Ernestine Parker and partner Jan. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren who referred to Dorothy as Nana. She was loved dearly by her large family and friends, and she will be missed very much.
