Cora Inola Hill (1927-2022)

Cora Hill Died December 19th, 2022 at Berlin NH at the age of 95.

She was born in Norton, Vermont.  She was the daughter of Fred and Inola Henry, on March 29th, 1927.  She graduated at Roby School.  Upon her graduation she went to work at the Colebrook House in Colebrook, New Hampshire.  After that she worked at the North Stratford Veneer Mill for a few years.  The she went to Connecticut and worked at Valley Steak House as a Waitress.  She met her future husband Harold Hill at the Valley Steak House where he worked as a bar tender.

She married Harold Hill the love of her life on march 3rd, 1970.  They were married for Twenty-six years.  Upon retirement, Cora and her husband Harold moved back to Norton, Vermont to care for her mother. She worked part-time at the Buck & Doe Restaurant as a waitress in Island Pond, Vermont.  After this she worked part time at Chez Pidgeon Restaurant as a waitress in Norton, Vermont.

She is survived by two step-sons, James Hill from Pennsylvania and Louis Hill of New Jersey, her two sisters Eva Martin and Rita Daniels, both of Island Pond, Vermont, her brother Ray Henry of Lyndonville, Vermont, and by many nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her parents Fred and Inola Henry, by her two sisters Bertha O'Keefe and Shirley Adams, her brother Ned Henry, her step-son Gerald Hill, and her step-daughter Nancy Roblas.

There will be a funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Island Pond, Vermont on June 17th.  The burial will be held at St Bernard Cemetery in Norton, Vermont immediately following the funeral.
