Bennett, Carolyn E. passed away peacefully at Greensboro Nursing Home on March 29th 2025 at 56 years of age.

Carolyn was born to Calvin and Leila Bennett in Middletown CT. At age 7 she moved with her family to Brownington VT where she attended school and Graduated from Lake Region Union High School in 1986. After a year in college she would work as a nurse's aid in a local nursing home. She became a stay at home mother after her first child was born.

She is survived by her sons Patrick of Brownington, Kevin of Derby, and her daughters Lilah of  Barton, and Laurel of Brownington, her siblings Clifton Bennett (Pat) of Cornish NH, Chistine (Steve) Shatney of Greensboro VT, Cathleen (Paul) Tumulty of Orange VT, Crystal (Atral Wolf) of Pomfret VT, and Casandra (Charles Carswell) of Rouses Point NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Leila Bennett, her brother Calvin Bennett III, and her longtime partner Edwin Ovitt.
