In loving memory of Carl Edward Emond.

January 3, 1947 – February 13, 2025.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and brother Carl Edward Emond. Surrounded with much love and comfort at home, he will be deeply missed. Born in Rosemere, Quebec, to the late Louis and Henrietta (Rose) Emond and predeceased by his brothers George and Paul Emond.

Throughout his professional career as a Chartered Accountant, Carl worked in many predominant companies in Montreal such as Pratt & Whitney, Labatt and Vestshell Inc. He was a joker at heart, leaving behind a close number of dear friends. A big sports enthusiast, Carl was an avid golfer with a love for hockey and football alike. For the past 20 years, Carl resided in Vermont where he was an appreciated member of the Orleans Country Club. In the winter months, Carl resided in Zephyrills, Florida where he continued to nourish his passion for golf.

Carl is survived by his devoted wife Carole (Pomeroy) Emond of Derby, Vermont, his sister Patricia (Emond) Franklin of Kanata, Ontario. He leaves behind the love of his children Tina (David), Trisha and Stephen as well his stepchildren Graham (Cristina) Mink, Andy (Lacy) Mink, Rob (Kerry) Mink. Equally and unforgettably the love from his grandchildren Sam, Leo, Livia, Gunnar, Livia, Charlotte and Jocelyn.

Though our hearts are broken, we are very grateful for the time we had together. We love you always, now and forever. We will miss you every single day.
