Brian Michael Flynn, 78, of Craftsbury Common, Vermont, passed away at St. Albans Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans, Vermont on May 12, 2022.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Michael J. Flynn and Mary (Fahey) Flynn on January 14, 1944 and raised in Elmhurst, Queens, NY.  He is survived by his wife, Susan Flynn, whom he married on October 9, 1976, his beloved stepson, Joel David Zenie and his partner, Trish Hawkins, of Kingston, NY and many cousins.

Brian spent his career on Wall Street working for Lehman Brothers, and when he and Susan moved to Vermont, he worked for Chittenden Bank in Brattleboro in the Trust Department.  He was an avid reader of non-fiction, especially political biographies and history.  He was very proud of his Irish heritage and visited Ireland many times.  He loved Irish music, 1950's Doo-Wop and country music.  He loved animals and his rescue Pug, Scotty.  He enjoyed sitting on the porch of The Craftsbury General Store (The Genny), chatting with locals and tourists alike.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Curtis-Britch-Davis & Bouffard Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Craftsbury Common. There will be no services per his request.  His ashes will be buried at The North Craftsbury Cemetery in the town he loved so well.
