April Marie Blouin, 53, of Newport, Vermont passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025 at North Country Hospital in Newport.  She was born as a set of triplets to Arthur and Elizabeth ( Snide) Blouin, on January 31, 1972, at North Country Hospital in Newport, VT.

April was a licensed Nurses Assistant at Newport Health Care Center for many years before the establishment closed, and more recently at the Bel-Aire Nursing Home.  Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed collecting owls, gem stones, and going to the casino's with her coworkers to Maine. She loved being a mom, her pets  Luna and Lilie and she took pride in working at the nursing homes with the elderly.

She is survived by her children: Kacie Baslow (Morrison) and her husband Jordan, Donovan Blouin and his fiancé Erin, and Myla Blouin.  She is also survived by several grandchildren, her siblings: Arthur Blouin and his wife Cheryl, Homer Stetson and his wife Arlene, Rokie Stetson, Rosemary Stetson, Rosemarie Blouin-Loughlin, and her sister-in-law Jan Colon-Stetson; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Angela Blouin, her brother Duane Stetson, her sister Donna Blouin, and her fiancé Keith (Grondin) Ferrand.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Paul's Cemetery in Barton with Rev. Caldwell officiating.
