It comes with sadness that our father Anthony Francis Hackett exited his life at the age of 78. He is reunited with the love of his life, soulmate,childhood friend,best friend of 53 years. She was his everything he ever wanted then,now, and forever.

Anthony F.Hackett died at his home on 4-9-2023 surrounded by his family. April 3rd was their 50th anniversary of marriage. Dad loved fishing, digging for cohogs, clams, old car shows , junking scrap, cranberry picking, and most of all feeding birds, squirrels, chipmunks or whatever else might join in. ( he's known as Dr. Dolittle as mom would put it).

Anthony F Hackett was born July 21st, 1944 in Hoboken New Jersey then moved with his family to Plymouth Mass. Later on he and his family moved to Vermont in 1983. He is survived by 6 children. Timothy  Hackett and wife Becky Hackett and their 3 children Lisa, Meagan and Crystal  Hackett of Goose Creek S.Carolina. Anthony E. Hackett and wife Cheryl  of Brownington Vt , daughter Ashley Gallardo and her 3 children of Coventry Vt . Valerie Hackett of Brownington Vt her 3 children David B.Hackett of Barnet Vt George Dunn Jr and wife Rachel and their 3 children of Otisfield ME.  and Daniel C.Dunn of Otisfield ME. His 3 children of Lee NH. Carol Hackett of Derby Line VT her 4 children Cody LaCourse and fiancé Logan Conley and 2 children from S. Barton VT , Kyle Santaw of Derby Line Vt ,Collin and Matthew Santaw of Island Pond VT, Kim and Robert Moore and their 3 children Michelle  and her 1 child,Dalton and Michael of Brownington Vt. Christine Hackett/Forgues Of Brownington Vt and her 4 children  Derek Hackett of St. Johnsbury, Natasha Jenkins of Lyndonville Vt and her 2 kids , Travis Forgues of St. Johnsbury VT and Jazmine Briggs of St.Johnsbury Vt. Many nieces , nephews and great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife Shirley C. Hackett his parents Frank Hackett, His mother Mary Almaida /Hackett Of Plymouth Mass, his brothers Frank Warren Hackett of Plymouth Mass and Charles Edward Hackett of Island Pond Vt. His grandchildren Ashlynn Santaw and Quincy O'Gorman both of Island Pond Vt.
