Alan Michael Sicard 75 of Barton Vermont died on March 5th, 2026, after a lengthy battle of liver cancer.at his home with family. Alan was born in St. Johnsbury Vt, November 27th, 1950, to Roger and Marybelle Sicard of barton Vermont. Alan attended St. Paul's catholic school, Barton Academy Lake region union high school. Alan also Attended manatee Vo tech and became an appliance technician; Alan senior year of high school he joined the us Navy where he serviced on the us intrepid. During the Vietnam war. Alan Married Janice E. Lyon on November 4th,1972 in Barton Vermont. Alan did many jobs over his 75 years of life. He was a truck driver for many years working with Ethan Allen, Pike Industries, J.P Sicard Inc, E & C Perron trucking, Wayne's appliance. Alan was a member of the American Legion Post 76, a Dav member of Bradenton FL. He was a member of the Barton Fire Department. Alan loved being a part of his family hobbies with hunting fishing and stock car racing, he loved being at the racetrack every weekend to watch his son's race stock cars. Over the year as four of his grandchildren followed in the love of racing, he was there to see it. Alan leaves behind his Wife of 53 years Janice, his son Shane and wife Julie Sicard, and children of barton VT, Granddaughter Desirae and husband Caleb Royer and their children Adrian And Casen Royer, of Irasburg Vt, Granddaughter Jasmine Sicard and son, Liam Hartley, Of Barton Vt, son Jody and children Austin & Makenzie Sicard of Gilmanton N.H, Son Adam and children Damion & Syvahna Sicard of Barton VT, Alan Leaves behinds his Brother's Paul and wife Marsha Sicard of Barton Vt, their Children Jason Sicard and his 3 Children of Barton Vt, ,Shannon and Husband Tim Axleson & son. Of M.E Richard and Wife Jeanne Sicard of barton Vt, their Children, Laurel Grenier and her three sons of Derby Vt, Nathan, and wife Kinsley Sicard and their two children of Barton Vt, he also leaves behind many other Cousins. Alan will be buried at the Veteran's Military Cemetery in Randolph Vermont. The service will be held on March 27th at 1pm @ 487 Furnace Road Randolph Center, 05061.
